Introduction
Hello! My name is Mrs. Cox, or Mrs. C. I have been teaching for 9 years, all of them here in The Gap. I taught in 3rd grade for 3 years, 5th grade for 1 year, secondary ELAR for 5 years, and theatre for 6 years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies (2017), Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction (2020), and a Master of Education in Educational Administration (2026), all from Grand Canyon University. I am certified to teach English Language Arts and Reading (7-12), English Language Arts and Reading/Social Studies (4-8), Core Subjects (EC-6), Theatre (EC-12), and I hold an ESL Supplemental (EC-12) certification. I love teaching at CGISD because of the small class sizes and having the opportunity to truly know my students and watch them grow.

I have been married to my husband, Kevin, for 22 years and we have two boys, Ricky and Braiden.
