Patrick, Kim

Paraprofessional

Hello, my name is Kim Patrick. I am more than thrilled to be a part of the CG community! A little bit to know about me is that I put my Lord first, and I hold my family at a close second. I have been married to my husband, Delbert Patrick, for 28 years, and together we have three beautiful daughters, Kassidy, Halie, and Dacey. All three of my girls went to school from pre-k to twelfth grade at Cranfills Gap ISD.

One thing I have always admired about this school district is that it doesn't feel like “just a school.” It truly feels like a family, and to be honest that is one of the biggest reasons I started working here four years ago. What started off as just a side job to keep myself busy outside of raising my kids, turned into a passion and a calling I never thought it could be. I fell in love with helping the children learn, and little by little the Lord opened a door for me that I didn’t know I needed. I felt in my heart to take this simple “side job” to the next level, and with that I went and got my Educational Aide Certificate. While pursuing that for a couple of years, the Lord has now opened another door. This year I am getting the privilege to teach an elementary art class. I could not be more excited for this next journey.

One of my favorite things about being a mom was being able to see my own kids grow into their own creative minds, and now as a new empty nester, I don't have to leave that joy behind. I get to keep doing what I have always loved most, putting a little spark into a child’s mind and teaching them that with just a little patience and motivation, they can create beautiful things and do beautiful things with their life. Thank you Cranfills Gap ISD for having me as a part of your family.
